The foundation under everything else

Cloud Infrastructure Security Audit

We assess your cloud environment to uncover weaknesses that could give attackers access to critical systems, data, or infrastructure.

Why this matters for iGaming

The Risk Isn't the Exploit; It's the Setup

Cloud incidents at iGaming operators rarely start with novel attack techniques. They start with standing configuration issues that sit unnoticed until they're used: excess IAM permissions, open storage, hardcoded credentials, flat networks with no segmentation between environments.

For an iGaming platform, the crown jewels of the business sit behind that configuration: player identity, payment infrastructure, and money movement itself. A single gap at the configuration layer can expose all of it simultaneously, with no alert to signal it happened.

What we assess

The Full Surface of Your Cloud Estate

Nothing in a cloud environment is assessed in isolation: identity, network, data, secrets, logging, and workloads are reviewed together, because that's how real compromises actually chain.

Identity and access (IAM)

Over-privileged roles, standing access, privilege-escalation chains, and weak separation of duties across human and service identities.

Network architecture

Segmentation between corporate, platform, and data environments, and unintended exposure of internal services.

Credential management

How keys, tokens, and credentials are stored, rotated, and prevented from landing in source code or container images.

Storage and data exposure

Buckets, databases, and volumes holding player, payment, and KYC data, evaluated for exposure and encryption strength.

Monitoring and audit trails

Whether intrusion activity would actually be captured, and how long that evidence is retained.

Workload configuration

Image integrity, registry configuration, and Kubernetes hardening.

Provider standards

Alignment against AWS, GCP, and Azure security baselines.
In practice

How a Cloud Environment Actually Gets Compromised

Each engagement is scoped around specific, business-critical questions rather than a generic benchmark scan. Illustrative of what a House Edge audit targets:

/01

Can limited access escalate to full control?

IAM policies are tested for privilege-escalation chains that let a modest foothold expand into administrative reach over the environment.
/02

Are credentials exposed inside the build?

Code, containers, and CI pipelines are checked for hardcoded API keys and database credentials retrievable by anyone who gains access.
/03

Is stored data more exposed than assumed?

Buckets and backups holding player documents are tested against actual access permissions, not documented ones.
/04

Can a low-value system reach production?

Network segmentation is tested for whether compromising a peripheral system opens a path to the platform and player data.
/05

Would an intrusion actually be detected?

Logging coverage and retention are assessed for whether evidence would exist after the fact.
Our methodology

Depth at Scale, Without Losing the Detail

A methodology designed to hold up across complex, multi-account, multi-region cloud deployments. Our coverage includes IAM policy and privilege-escalation paths, network segmentation and exposure, secrets storage and rotation, data-at-rest exposure and encryption, logging coverage and retention, container and orchestration hardening, and public-resource exposure. The audit is conducted as a read-access, configuration-based review under agreed least-privilege access.

Comprehensive, not sampled

Every IAM policy, network boundary, secret store, and workload configuration is reviewed, not spot-checked (random sampling of a small percentage, assuming the rest match). We audit 100% of your configuration, not assumptions based on a few examples.

Chained, not isolated, findings

Misconfigurations are evaluated for how they connect, since real compromises rarely rely on a single flaw.

AI-accelerated, researcher-directed

AI tooling extends analysis across large, multi-region estates at speed; researchers retain full control over interpretation and prioritization.

Multi-environment and integration security

Assessment covers development, staging, and production environments, plus security of third-party integrations (payment gateways, odds feeds, game servers) that connect to your core infrastructure.
Scope

Where Configuration Risk Actually Concentrates

Scope is agreed with your team before the audit begins, weighted toward the accounts and services carrying the greatest risk.

What the engagement covers

  • Cloud accounts and subscriptions across one or more of AWS, GCP, and Azure
  • Identity and access management for both human and service accounts
  • Network segmentation and boundary exposure across environments
  • Data stores holding player, payment, or identity information
  • Secrets and key-management infrastructure
  • Container, orchestration, and serverless workload configuration
  • Logging, alerting, and evidence retention

What you receive

  • Resource-level findings with clear business impact
  • Exact configuration evidence behind every finding
  • Ranked remediation steps, ordered by risk
  • An executive summary suited for leadership and compliance review
  • Included retesting once fixes are in place
Why GameGuardz

Knowing What Each Misconfiguration Costs You

  • Audit tools can flag thousands of configuration issues. GameGuardz goes further, assessing what each one actually exposes, from player identity and payment infrastructure to production systems and sensitive data.
  • That context turns configuration findings into clear priorities, showing which weaknesses create meaningful exposure, how they can affect the wider environment, and what your team needs to address first.
Faq

Questions we get asked.

Network testing evaluates what's exploitable from outside your perimeter. A cloud audit examines configuration itself: identity, access, storage, and secrets independent of whether an active exploit path currently exists.

Yes. The audit runs on read-only access, configuration-based review under least-privilege access agreed with your team in advance.

AWS, GCP, and Azure: individually or across multi-account, multi-region deployments.

Yes. Container image, registry, and orchestration configuration are assessed as part of the standard scope.

No. The audit is read-access and configuration-based, conducted under rules of engagement agreed with your team beforehand.

Yes. For operators running crypto rails, validator node security, key management, and hot wallet infrastructure are assessed alongside standard cloud configuration.

Know your exposure before someone else does.

A short scoping conversation is enough to identify the accounts and environments a cloud audit should cover, and to agree on the access terms for testing them.
